Anime Squadron Raid Guide: All 4 Raids & What They Unlock
This Anime Squadron raid guide covers every raid, its unlock requirement and the evolution it gates, plus a picker that matches your goal to the right one. Raid data cross-checked 2026-07-11.
Quick answer
- Raids unlock at account Level 15 - the menu stays locked below that regardless of roster strength.
- Four confirmed raids: Eclipse Raid, GT City Raid, Katakara Bridge and Ninja Village Squadron.
- GT City Raid gates Shanron's evolution and the final step of Gometa's fusion questline - clear its Acts 1-3 in order before Act 4 opens.
- Every Secret-tier evolution that isn't a straight pull needs a raid clear somewhere in its chain - raids are the real bottleneck, not Gems.
Which Raid Do I Need?
Pick the unit you're building toward. The picker matches it to the raid that actually gates its evolution, so you stop grinding the wrong content.
The one raid encounter with a documented pattern: Act 4's fight has you destroy three Dragonballs across the left, right and center lanes before the Shanron boss itself spawns on the map.
All 4 raids at a glance
Cross-checked against Sportskeeda, RoboLibrary and BloxInformer coverage of the current build. The developer has never published an official raid list, so treat anything not flagged "confirmed" below as community-sourced.
| Raid | Unlock | Boss pattern | Unlocks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Eclipse Raid | Reach account Level 15 to unlock Raids in general, then queue Eclipse Raid from the Raid menu. | Not publicly documented | Berserker |
| GT City Raid | Level 15 to unlock Raids, then clear Acts 1-3 of GT City Raid in order before Act 4 opens. | Confirmed - see picker above | Shanron |
| Katakara Bridge | Level 15 to unlock Raids, then clear Katakara Bridge up through Act 4. | Not publicly documented | Woo |
| Ninja Village Squadron | Level 15 to unlock Raids, then clear Ninja Village Squadron up through Act 4. | Not publicly documented | Madora |
How raid mode actually works
The rest of this Anime Squadron raid guide breaks down the mode itself. Raids are the game's hardest PvE content, and they gate the account's real bottleneck: every Secret-tier unit that isn't a straight banner pull needs a raid clear somewhere in its evolution chain. The mode unlocks at account Level 15 - hit that level through normal story Acts and dailies, and the Raid menu opens on its own.
Every raid is built the same way underneath: a high-HP boss encounter with a tight time limit, playable solo or with a squad, that functions as a pure DPS check rather than a puzzle. GT City Raid is the one with a documented fight - three Dragonballs spread across the left, right and center lanes have to be destroyed before the Shanron boss spawns - and community coverage describes the other three raids as running the same lane-and-timer structure, though nobody has published their exact patterns yet.
The raids that use an Act structure gate progress the same way: clear Acts 1 through 3 in order, and Act 4 - the Act every evolution actually needs - opens up. That means the early Acts are a one-time unlock, not a grind you repeat once you have Act 4 available. On top of the raid-specific drops, a generic "clear 100 Raid stages" quest pays 7,500 Gold once, separate from anything a specific raid drops.

Raid guide FAQ
What level unlocks Raids in Anime Squadron?
Level 15. Below that the Raid menu stays locked, so the fastest way to open it is clearing story Acts and dailies until your account hits 15, not grinding a specific raid.
How many raids does Anime Squadron have?
Four confirmed so far: Eclipse Raid, GT City Raid, Katakara Bridge and Ninja Village Squadron. GT City Raid has been live since early access; the other three were added across later updates. Komplex Studio hasn't published a full raid list, so this is built from code drops and evolution requirements, not an official count.
Do I have to clear raid Acts in order?
Yes for the raids that use an Act structure - GT City Raid is the confirmed example, where Acts 1-3 must be cleared before Act 4 unlocks. Act 4 is also the act every evolution-gated unit actually needs, so the earlier Acts are a gate you clear once, not a grind you repeat.
What do raids actually reward?
Evolution materials that don't drop anywhere else - Primal Cores and the raid-specific items behind Berserker, Shanron, Woo and Madora's evolutions. There's also a generic "clear 100 Raid stages" quest that pays 7,500 Gold on its own, separate from any single raid's drops.
Which raid should I run first?
GT City Raid, since it's the only one with a documented fight pattern and it double-counts toward both Shanron's evolution and Gometa's fusion questline. Run Eclipse, Katakara Bridge or Ninja Village Squadron once your account is aimed at that specific evolution instead of running all four blind.
Can I solo a raid, or do I need a full squad?
Raids are built as a DPS check against a high-HP boss, so a strong solo carry like an evolved Gometa or Goki (SSJ4 FP) can clear one alone. A full squad just clears faster - see the Squad Builder to check your roster's score before you queue.
Turn raid drops into a finished evolution
A raid clear is one step. Track the rest of the chain and check your squad before you queue.
